It's Prime Day! If you're thinking about getting your own net, check out Pickleball Central. They have a Prime Day tie-in on their first-generation net -- 30% off, for a final price of $118. (https://pickleballcentral.com/rally-portable-pickleball-net/). It's a little cheaper from P'ball Central than directly on Amazon. The next generation net, with oval rather than round tubes, is also on sale (but not as part of Prime Day) -- 20% off, for a final price of $177 (https://pickleballcentral.com/rally-deluxe-portable-net-system/). I went with the first-gen net myself. Lots of other pickleball-related Prime Day deals, of course. Happy shopping!

Thanks for this sales tip, David. I've been using a "ZENY Portable Pickleball Net Set System." It's probably not as durable as other nets, but it has held up well for a couple of years - using it several times a week and people carefully setting it up and taking it down. Listed for $62 at Amazon today.

Courts are too wet this morning! Play rescheduled for 1pm!

Hi everyone! A few quick things:

Keep an eye on the weather for Saturday morning! If it’s not raining, hopefully we can squeeze in some play before it does.

This Sunday morning there is a 5k with Elmgrove Ave as part of the course so just be mindful of potential traffic changes en route.

If anyone is interested in playing Monday morning since there is no school, we may be organizing something for then.

For future Fall Saturdays when there is a Brown home football game, there may be No Parking signs posted along Emeline St where we usually park. Just a heads up that we may need to park a street or 2 or away.

RSVP if you’re thinking of coming to play this weekend!
